STEPHEN KENNEY, Clinical Psychology Extern

Commonwealth Psychological Associates (CPA) is committed to training exceptional doctoral students from local area universities. The George Washington University has selected CPA as a training site for advanced clinical psychology doctoral students. Clinical psychology externs at CPA can gain experience providing individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and neuropsychological assessment with children, adolescents, and adults.

Mr. Kenney received his B.A. in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University (GW). Before coming to CPA, Mr. Kenney provided psychotherapy and assessment services at the Meltzer Psychological Services Center of The George Washington University. Mr. Kenney is a generalist and enjoys working with a variety of clinical issues including anxiety, depression, and interpersonal concerns. He is currently a student affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA), as well as a member of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS).
